The Alfa Romeo Brera is a stunning coupe with sharp lines and a big butt. While the bold styling makes it a certified head turner it is nevertheless a non conformist auto that may not fit everyone’s taste. This auto does not offer enough cabin space much less decent seating space for children. The leather seats are nice-looking but not practical at all as they are set too high making the seating and driving position uncomfortable.
The Alfa Romeo Brera may be a winner in the looks department but unfortunately the performance disappoints. It is powered by a 2.2-Liter engine producing 185 horsepower. It is however equipped with good brakes and weighty steering.
Value for money is one thing that the Alfa Romeo Brera does not offer although it offers a far better value when you compare it with the Mercedes CLK. If you’re concerned with fuel efficiency then opt for the 2.4-Liter turbodiesel engine producing 200 horsepower as it has a fuel efficiency of 41.5mpg.
If you’re more concerned about the environment footsteps your vehicle is leaving behind then opt for the 2.4-Liter JTD diesel engine which has a CO2 emission of 179g/km. The 2.2-Liter gas engine emits 221 g/km of CO2.
