Audi is planning to showcase 25 production and two show cars at the 2010 AMI Leipzig which will start on April 9th. The German auto show will also host to a number of home soil debuts for the Audi brand, including the new A1 premium mini car, A8 and RS 5 Coupe.

Included in 25 exhibits are the facelift TT Coupe and Roadster. The two are making their world premier at Leipzig nearly four years since the current 2007 model appeared. Whether a facelift TT RS will make it to the show has not yet been confirmed.

The Audi S5 V8 FSI gets more power and a new body kit thanks to Senner Tuning AG.

The German tuner, which named the kit White Beast, gave the vehicle aerodynamic improvements thru a large air inlet on the new front spoiler, new front grille, a rear spoiler lip and a rear carbon-look apron.

The 4.2 V8 White Beast gets a slight power boost from the standard’s 260 kW (349 bhp / 354 PS) up to 282 kW (378 bhp / 384 PS) and 475 Nm with the addition of a performance air filter and exhaust system. The top speed has increased as well to 285 km/h.

Enco Exclusive develops yet again another set of modifications for the Audi Q5.

The package, which can be bought as a whole or in parts, is developed for the five-door vehicle to reflect a similar look as the Enco Q7. The two cars may be distinguished though by the distinct differences between the two bumpers.

The Enco Audi Q5 has LED daytime running lights built in alongside its enlarged air inlets. A new hood has been installed above it all. New sidesills lead to a remodeled rear that now includes a rear spoiler and dual oval exhaust pipes seen on the Q7.

An Audi R8 V10 Spyder literally spit flames while being driven by DTM champion Mattias Ekstrom who has tested the coupe version a number of times before.

Ekstrom was handed the keys to the Audi drop-top and was told to just have fun with it. An invitation like that is not one to be passed over by anyone, let alone a racing multi-champ.

Hofele, a German-based tuning company, has just released new details about their new kit of modifications for the Audi A8. The kit’s release coincides with Audi’s launch of the new version of their flagship four-door.

The Hofele version of the Audi A8 is said to have faster acceleration times of 5.2- and 5.3-seconds to 100 km/h depending on petrol or diesel engine.  The petrol 4.2-liter FSI V8 has been boosted up to 400 PS (294 kW / 395 bhp) and up to 475 Nm (350 lb-ft) of torque. Audi will try to make its R8 Spyder range more obtainable by offering it with a new powertrain. Joining the standard 5.2 liter V10 is the 4.2 liter V8 engine. The latter will offer a lower price for the convertible model. Like its fixed-roof counterpart, the R8 Spyder 4.2 FSI will be producing 420 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque with its new engine. Customers will be able to choose between Audi’s R tronic semi-automatic and a conventional six-speed manual.

Prior Design has just finished another set of upgrade for the Audi R8, the Audi R8 Carbon Limited Edition. This time though, the German tuners opted not to touch the car’s engine. Instead they focused on the aerodynamics of the Audi R8.

Starting at the façade of the car, they installed a lower lip spoiler with a center fin and two smaller air intakes on the sides. A rounded hood with carbon-fiber inlets has also been added, as well as new side skirts. The redesigned rear bumper was constructed with a carbon-fiber diffuser.  For this version, the car rides on 9 by 20 front and 11.5 by 20 custom rear wheels.

Modifications…

German tuners ENCO Exclusive have just finished their own version of the Audi Q7 3.0 TDI. Most noticeable changes made by the firm include an extra large grille, widened wheel arches, and ceramic brakes from the Porsche Cayenne.

The modifications can be purchased separately, but the full package will cost €38,000.  This includes 11×23 blacked-out Jura wheels wrapped in Dunlop SP Sport Maxx tires, and the Audi OEM full body V12 conversion kit, making the car broader.  Audi sport headlights and taillights are installed as well.

The carbon fiber-made ENCO GT bonnet with built-in ventilation slits is covered in a matt black foliation, which gives the Q7 the stealth look.

Audi is on publicity frenzy with its A1. A recent video of the A1 reveals that the premium subcompact will be offering a Wasabi Green interior.

As stated by color and trim designer for Audi Jana Bonkava, “A completely new car is always an exciting challenge for designers. Audi UK has announced prices for the R8 V10 Spyder. The topless German model with a fully automatic lightweight fabric roof is to retail for £111,955 OTR for the manual and £117,155 OTR for the robotic R tronic. Power still comes from the 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine putting out a solid 525PS. It is good for an acceleration time of 4.1 seconds from 0 - 62mph and tops off at 197mph.

Audi also said that a British LM-spec R8 will be competing in the FIA GT3 European Championship. The R8 LMS is based on the coupe version. Two examples of the car have already been sold to the new car…

After the highly anticipated RS 3 did not appear at the Frankfurt Auto Show, MR Car Design decided to make one their own.

MR Car design exploited the base 2.0 TFSI engine and added new equipment such as a big intercooler, new engine control software and a sports exhaust system with optimized counter pressure. The result, power boost from 195 kW (265 horsepower) and torque of 350 Nm to 248 kW (337 horsepower) and 450 Nm of torque. The chassis has also been improved with the use of V3 coilovers with pressure and tension phase adjustment.

A new set of styling revisions for the Audi A5 and S5 have been released by Königseder.

And with the styling package of the Austrian tuners, the cars look more aggressive on the outside yet a bit gauche in the inside.

A new front bumper for either A5 or S5 with better integrated fog lights is only part of the changes.  The side sills, although looks a bit too much towards the back for this car, does match up with the front extension pretty well.  At the back, the new rear extension easily integrates the quad-pipes. The wood floor mats in the interior looks very awkward. The new mats obviously don’t fit…
