Images of the Lumma CLR X 650 M have been released by the tuner’s Russian distributor, TopCar.

The Lumma CLR X 650 M is based on the BMW X6 M. It features an aggressive body kit with new bumpers, aerodynamics side skirts, extended fender flares, and a rear diffuser. It also received a new black grille, a massive rear spoiler and 23-inch wheels.

The 2011 model year BMW M3 is rumored to carry an M3 GTS Competition Package as an option.

The package will be available to US M3 owners and enthusiasts who want a bit more aggression and performance from their M3s. However, the US was unfortunate enough to be not included on the GTS global list.

Included in the 2011 BMW Competition Package are items like alcantara interior inserts, nineteen-inch wheels, a suspension system that is lowered by ten millimeters and an updated EDC Sport setting. Speculations of a possible exhaust or transmission may also materialize.

BMW Canada has finally divulged the official specifications for the 2011 BMW 335is coupe and cabriolet. According to the legit info, both cars will be using a 320-horsepower all-aluminum 3.0 liter inline-6 that’s capable of up to 332 ft.-lb. of torque.

BMW’s decision to de-tune the engine is reportedly due to conflicting reasons actually, with one official saying that the six-speed manual transmission mated to the engine could not tolerate more power. BMW has just announced its US pricing details for the upcoming 2011 740i and 740Li.

The 740i and 740Li are both power-driven by a twin-turbo 3.0 liter inline-six engine. The engine produces 315 horsepower and 339 ft-lb of torque. That power makes the 720i accelerate from zero to sixty miles per hour in just 6.9 seconds. The same acceleration is made by the 740Li in flat six seconds.

Good news has just been announced by BMW. They will be offering the 2011 Alpina in North America. The E65 B7 may be remembered to have only been available in North America as a limited edition in 2007 and 2008. And to be ready for the re-launch, BMW has already debuted the F01 based BMW-7 Series in Geneva last year, then as a long-wheelbase F02 in Tokyo just a few months ago.

Racing Dynamics has just released their initial tuning programs for the up and coming BMW 5-Series F10. Both the 2011 550i and the 535i will be given by the German tuners performance and aero modifications.

The 550i’s twin-turbo V8 will be boosted up to 620 horsepower. Performance breaks with discs capable of up to 800 degrees Celsius will then be fitted in. A sport-suspension and rear-locking differential will also be featured. Meanwhile, the 535i will also get a power boost of up to 410 horsepower and torque of 530 Nm.

WheelSTO has just released a video of their latest undertaking, the BMW 135i. WheelSTO has launched the concept as WSTO Project 1 v1.2 over the summer and has gone thru an extensive work since then.

The BMW 135i Project 1 v1.2 now includes a Bastuck quad-pipe exhaust.  A carbon fiber rear diffuser from 3D Design shipped in from Japan is also integrated perfectly to the stock bumper.  H&R Sport Springs drop the car significantly.  Gunmetal-finish Advan RZ wheels measure 19×8 +45 and 19×9 +50 are wrapped in Yokohama Advan AD08 performance tires. Another attractive sports car is introduced by BMW Motorsport for 2010: the BMW Z4 GT3. The BMW Z4 GT3 is built for events such as the FIA GT3 European Championship, the International GT Open, and the ADAC GT Masters.

The BMW Z4 GT3 is powered by a four-liter, eight cylinder engine, equipped with a 408 ECU and a Power400 control unit. The power of the BMW Z4 GT3 is now boosted up to 480 bhp.

The BMW Z4 GT3 is also equipped with a six-speed sequential gearbox, rims with locking and safety clips, racing ABS and optional air conditioning.

Topcar, Cardi and Lumma design have teamed up to come up with an aggressive styling package that will surely give the 2011 BMW 5-Series a performance boost.

The Russian tuners, Topcar and Cardi, maintained the cars bulging nose but gave it new carbon fiber front lip. The new bumper has five sections of air inlets, with honeycomb grill, and integrated LED lighting. At the rear, a carbon fiber spoiler is added on the top of the trunk, as well as a smoother bumper. A carbon fiber rear diffuser, quad-tailpipes, and triple-spoke wheels tops of the package.

BMW has been working on a new concept based 1-Series Coupe, the BMW ActiveE Concept. It is the second EV from the company’s ‘i’ project, the MINI E being the first.

The ActiveE is estimated to have a 160-kilometer single-charge range. Its liquid-cooled lithium-ion can power a 125 kW motor with a maximum torque of up to 250 Nm. In just 4.5 seconds, the ActiveE will be able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph, and in 9 seconds, can hit 100km/h.  The ActiveE’s electronically limited top speed can be up to 145 km/h. BMW is set to introduce a new BMW M1 at the Dubai International Motor Show. Although it has already been a year since the details for the purportedly new BMW M1 is released by the car manufacturer, it is only now that it has been realized.

The M1 was first put to market in 1978. It was the first largely produced mid-engine car from BMW by Lamborghini. The M1 used a 3.5 Liter six-cylinder twin-cam engine that produced 273 horsepower. The turbocharged racing versions however were capable of generating 850 horsepower. A 160mph top speed was recorded for the production version of the M1.

European Auto Source has unveiled its own version of M-Sport package for the BMW 7-series. Starting on the pre-existing solid sports kit, EAS added an Aerodynamics Package, chrome trim on both front and rear aprons and a 19-inch double-spoke alloy design front and rear wheels wearing differing and optimized tire sizes.

EAS has also traded chrome highlights for a matt black trim. The side and kidney grilles have also been finished with the matt black treatment, as well as the OEM rear diffuser.
