Following the path of General Motors, Chrysler has resumed its vehicle leasing business. The move was officially confirmed last September 17, 2010. According to the carmaker Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep vehicles are available for lease.

Chrysler left the vehicle leasing business last July 2008 when it financial leasing department was not able to get a line of credit. With the return of Chrysler to leasing, it could boost the carmakers overall sales. Since they have stopped leasing cars, Chrysler’s market share has declined more than two full points.

GMAC Financial Services will now be responsible for handling all Chrysler leases.

As of this writing the Chrysler Town & Country, Dodge Grand Caravan, Ram…

Check out the 2009 Chrysler PT Cruiser if you’re feeling the retro-styling groove that this bundle of metal’s been sporting since its inception. Since its debut in 2001, not much is different in the outer-chassis styling, but the inside keeps getting better and better.

In ’06 the interior got a much lauded update, and it’s still getting some thoughtful readjustments.  Inside, the 2009 Chrysler PT Cruiser utilizes a 2.4 liter inline four-cylinder engine that’ll get 150 horsepower. There’s also a turbocharged version of the same engine that’ll step the horsepower up to 180. With the manual transmission, this car can do 26 mpg on the highway and about 21 in town, but…

Get a look at the 2008 Chrysler 300-Series if you’re a fan of big-grille styling and appreciate the vintage look of Chryslers from 50 years ago. We think this car looks awesome on the outside and on the inside as well, but younger drivers might disagree; it definitely retains some of the clumsier style elements of its retro precedents.

Under the hood, the 2008 Chrysler 300-Series offers a choice of four different engines. There’s a 2.7 liter V-6 that’ll put out 178 horses; a 3.5 liter V-6 that’ll do 250 horsepower; a 5.7 liter V-8 that gets 340 horsepower; and the butt-kicking top offering, a 6.1 liter V-8 that pushes up…

Taking a look at the 2008 Chrysler Sebring sedan, we’re not particularly overwhelmed, but apparently that’s a good thing. We definitely don’t think it burdens the senses, although many critics have faulted its stylistic flairs as being too obtrusive. We find them to be sporty. And, behind them is a pretty good car.

The 2008 Sebring offers a choice of engines: 2.4 liter with 173 horsepower as a 4-cylinder; a 2.7 liter with 189 horsepower as a V-6; or an impressive 3.5 liter, 235 horsepower V-6 with a six-speed automatic transaxle. With the 4-cylinder version, expect fuel economy ratings of about 24 and 32 mpg. The numbers go down with the bigger…
