Recent reports said that the Ferrari California will be offered with two different transmissions. Now, an alleged leaked document states that the company will offer a six-speed manual transmission in addition to the standard seven-speed dual wet clutch semi-automatic.

With the manual transmission, performance may indeed be reduced, but it may satisfy a 10% demand by customers for a stick shift. And with the six-speed manual, the car accelerates from zero to a hundred kilometers per hour in 4.2 seconds, at least 0.3 seconds slower than the DCT provides. Additionally, fuel consumption is increased with the manual gear box. The DCT provides a 17.9 mpg-US (13.1 liters/100km) rating, 11% better than…

The F10 shares its front end with last year’s Red Bull car. Other than what seems to be a…

The Rossion Q1-1000 supercar touches the Ferrari land to shoot a promotional video that will showcase the vehicle’s abilities and announce its European distribution by Hybrid UKGARAGE of Bergamo.

The Noble M400-based Q1 is assembled by 1g Racing and Rossion Automotive, who acquired the production rights from Noble Automotive in 2007. It may be noticed that the Q1 is less splashy than the M400 as it only made do with the massive rear spoiler for the exterior styling.

The Q1 is equipped with a 450-horsepower 3.5 liter biturbo V6 that can accelerate the supercar from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.1 seconds before reaching 100 mph in 7.7 seconds. The engine…

From the name itself, 458 Italia guarantees you a taste of distinctiveness the country has.  The driver would surely enjoy the fusion of innovative technology and pure elegance.  Thus, Ferrari decided to include the name of its homeland.

The Ferrari 458 Italia is entirely original from every aspect; different engine, design, aerodynamics, behavior, instrumentation and ergonomics.  This new Ferrari is indeed a shoot up as regards to cutting emissions.  Moreover, even if the new engine is way more powerful than the V8s, Ferrari 458 Italia produces only 320 g/km of CO2 and fuel consumption is 13.7 l/100 km (combined cycle).

The 458 Italia also introduces a ground-breaking driving environment.  From the obvious…

The only sure thing is that the F450 will be an entirely different car than the 2010 Ferrari F430 which directly evolved from the Ferrari 360 Modena.

Sources said the 2010 Ferrari F450 will have a more aggressive and angular stance compared to the F430 sans the rear fender air intakes but with larger opening below the front bumper and larger intakes ahead of the rear wheels. The new Ferrari will also be…

The Ferrari 599XX is a ridiculously powerful supercar that does not even make mention of any hybrid technology. Despite the Italian car manufacturer confirmation that the Ferrari 599XX is indeed a track car producing 700 horsepower there are still rumors that the car’s development is geared towards a road-going version of the 599XX which comes with the kinetic energy recovery system being used by the Ferrari Formula 1 racing cars.

Hybrid or not, the Ferrari 599XX is expected to be a recipient of Ferrari’s bid to improve the car’s efficiency through the use of carbon fiber and other lightweight materials. The Ferrari 599XX prototype already makes extensive use of this composite…
