German tuners Startech is planning on a new kit for the Jaguar XJ sedan. The package will include modifications to the car’s aerodynamics, a lowered ride height, 21-inch forged wheels, and a redesigned interior.

The Startech Jaguar XJ will also feature a new front end that is attached on the OEM bumper. Larger air ducts will also be included in the kit, as well as LED daytime runners.  Front fenders and rocker panels that will lead back to the car’s rear will also be forged in. A new apron, tailpipes, and diffuser will be found at the rear. A decklid spoiler will also be mounted to the car.

The joint project of the engineers from Coventry, Jaguar and the RSR team has been officially introduced to the European public. The new GT car of Jaguar, the JaguarRSR XKR GT, appeared at the 2010 Autosport International in Birmingham, England.

The Jaguar RSR XKR GT is powered by Jaguar’s AJ133 5.0 liter V8 engine that generates up to 550 horsepower. Mated to a six-speed transmission, the engine gives the car top speed of 180 miles per hour. Jaguar is about to add another product to the Jaguar pipeline. The British car maker is currently working on a wagon version of its XF sedan. It was earlier reported that Jaguar is working on an entry-level roadster and five-door coupe, but a wagon version of the XF will also come to market in the next few years.

According to Jaguar the XF wagon will still have the sedan’s low slung look and sporty features. Unlike some wagons, like the ones Volvo makes, Jaguar’s wagon will focus on style and on-road ability instead of utility.

Jaguar has recently confirmed that it was readying a series of hybrid system similar to the one used in the Chevrolet Volt. The hybrid will used for its next-generation XJ flagship.

According to Autocar, Jaguar will reveal the hybrid system in a concept car at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The project will be called the Limo-Green concept; the showcar will be based on Jaguar’s latest XJ sedan.

In a recent Grand Prix, Arden showcased their new Jaguar XKR 5.0L and proudly discloses some details of the improved automobile.

German tuner Arden offers a newly designed chassis, 9×21-inch alloy wheels and a quad-piped sport exhaust system made of stainless steel that creates an “out-of-this world sound”.  According to their report, the performance parts package includes the AJ20 Wild Cat rear plus diffuser.

Here’s one for those who are Jaguar-obsessed despite its aging looks. The Arden AJ14 Jaguar XJ is however a far cry from an aging auto after Arden did some tuning up.
