The 4000th Lamborghini Murcielago has just rolled off the assembly line in the automakers’ Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy plant.

The Murcielago SuperVeloce LP 670-4 carrying series number 4,000 is a lightweight version of the Murcielago LP 640 on which it is based. The car dons an orange “Arancione Atlas” exterior and an Alcantara interior with black sports seats. Under the hood of the is a 6.5-liter V12 engine with 670 PS (493 kW / 661 hp) and 660 Nm (487 lb-ft) of torque. It enables the supercar to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 342 km/h (212 mph).

Graphic artist Jon Sibal’s depiction of the upcoming Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera has been released. The rendering shows what the actual Superleggera will look like at its debut at the Geneva Auto Show in March.

The newest Superleggera will be getting rid of about 70 kilograms over its standard variant and will gain instead a 10 horsepower increase in power. With reduced weight and increased power, the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera can accelerate form 0 to 100lm/h in under 3.5 seconds and will have the power to weight ratio of 2.35.

Rumors of a new Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 debuting in Geneva next year are fast spreading. The Lamborghini LP570-4 is said to have stronger performance figures and new design features.

Expected to be seen in the latest model are new front and rear spoilers, re-tuned suspension and carbon ceramic breaks. The new Lamborghini LP570-4 will also boast a 10-horsepower boost and a huge weight drop.

The Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 SV is expected to be presented first privately in January. The public unveiling will happen in Geneva. A rear-wheel drive version of the LP570-4 is also likely to come out a year after the public debut.

The Gallardo LP600/4 can sprint up from zero to a hundred kilometers per hour in just 3.5 seconds, before hitting its top speed of 340 km/h. Reiter Lamborghini LP560 GT3 is based on the specifications of their previous model and an improvement to the Lamborghini LP560-4.
