
Lotus and Cosworth is coming back at the IndyCar Series with an especially dedicated car for this year.
The technical and commercial partnership, which has KV Racing Technology also included, is expected to be bear fruit on the track. Lotus Racing previously competed in IndyCar in the 1950s and 1960s, concluding with Jim Clark winning the Indianapolis 500 in 1965. That car, from which the new one drew design inspiration, wore classic Racing Green and Yellow livery. Former Formula One driver Takuma Sato will be piloting the new vehicle this time around.
