Ferrari’s new employee, and probably the most famous, Fernando Alonso, has been recently presented with what most of us could just dream of having: a Maserati GranCabrio. And it’s not just any other; the famous F1 driver will have his own choice of the said car.

The two-time F1 champion Alonso got to choose a GranCabrio outfitted to his liking and selected one in Grigio Granito, or Grey Granite, for the exterior while the inside comes in a two-tone combination of Pearl Beige and Bordeaux leather, which also matches the soft-top canvass roof that covers the GranCabrio on its wetter days.

The official pricing for the latest model of GranTurismo Convertible from Maserati has been announced. Known as GranCabrio in other markets, the GranTurismo Convertible will retail from $135,800.

The Maserati GranTurismo Convertible is powered by the same 4.7-liter V8 found under the hood of the GranTurismo, generating 433 horsepower. Its canvas top eschews the now-common folding metal hardtop for increased luggage space and for a visual link to past Maserati drop tops. The Italian automaker says that the 115.8-inch wheelbase, shared with the coupe, is the longest such wheelbase on a convertible.

UK. What comes with all that royal pounds, you ask? The sexy convertible version of the GranTurismo S itself of course. With the 4.7 Liter V8 engine that produces 323 kW and 490 Nm of torque.
