After making its European debut at the Geneva Motor Show, Nissan now drives the 2011 Juke at the New York International Auto Show. It also marks the North American debut of the vehicle.

Inspired by the Qazana show car exhibited at last year’s Geneva show, the Juke will go on sale this fall in both Europe and the United States as a 2011 model.

The Juke will run with a 1.6-liter inline-four, direct-injection turbocharged gasoline engine that produces over 180 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque. Nissan Gives European Murano Diesel Engines

This coming September, Nissan’s European-market Murano crossover will be offered with a diesel engine for the first time ever.

The vehicle will get Nissan’s 2.5-liter dCi four-cylinder that can churn out 187 horsepower and 332 lb-ft. of torque. The engine will then be mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.

Although Nissan has not released fuel economy figures, the automaker says that the diesel Murano will be capable of meeting Euro 5 emissions standards all because of the integration of a diesel particle filter to the vehicle.

Nissan releases the pricing details for its US-spec 2011 GT-R.

Many may be surprised at the biggest change, which is the elimination of the $80,700 base model (in the 2010 model year). For 2011, the sole model is the $84,060 GT-R Premium (a $1020 increase over the 2010 GT-R Premium). The price increase will give you options which include ‘Super Silver’ paint for $3,000 and floor mats for $280, while the ultra-high performance tires and a cold weather package comes free of charge.

Nissan is readying an all-new entry-level crossover vehicle which will be dubbed Juke. Based on the Qazana concept car from the Geneva Motor Show in 2009, the Juke measures 4 meters long, 1.765 meters wide and 1.57 meters high.

A mash-up of SUV and sports car, the Juke features chunky wheels, wide tires and a higher ground clearance. Its headlights are split into two elements sitting on either half of the front end. Nine exterior colors will be available for the Juke when it goes on sale.

Nissan confirmed that it will take part in the 2010 New York International Auto Show. And part of their lineup for the event is the latest 2011 Infiniti QX56 SUV. Nissan chose the show for its latest debut as they consider New York as one of its most important market areas. And many other automakers also think so.

A model of the 2011 Nissan Qazana has been seen testing during the cold weather on a frozen lake in Sweden. The SUV, which was introduced as a buggy-style crossover concept in Geneva earlier this year, will likely compete with the new Toyota Urban Cruiser.

As spied, the 2011 Nissan Qazana will feature front widescreen for more visibility, a rear less rounded with a more conventional bumper. The bigger rear window will also be fitted with a wiper blade. A new Nissan Qashqai will be available to UK come spring 2010. Changes was not limited to the exterior of the Qashqai, the inside was also modified for the UK market.

The revisions in the exterior include a new front bumper, a revised front grille, an all-new bonnet, and upgraded headlights. Infiniti is Nissan’s luxury brand, like what Lexus is to Toyota. In the next couple of years Infiniti will be launching its first hybrid vehicle in the form of the M35 Hybrid in early 2011.
