
Renault has just signed up General Motors designer Anthony Lo as Vice President of Exterior Design of the French automaker. The move is part of Renault’s continuing efforts in revitalizing its design department. Lo, whose best-known design is the Saab Aero X show car, will work under former Mazda designer Laurens van der Acker at Renault.
Lo held the position of Director of Advanced Design at GM. As such, he worked primarily on the automaker’s European operations. The Saab Aero X is considered his crown achievement with the General.
