2009 Dodge Challenger

We’re getting a look at the 2009 Dodge Challenger, a fierce sedan that’s cooked up to look like the king of all muscle cars. If you have any kind of inferiority complex whatsoever, this is a terrific car for you.

This is exactly the kind of rig you’ll want to put between you and your tiny ego. It sports a stylized chassis to remind us of rolled up shirt-sleeves, greased-back hair, and really mean smirks. Let’s take a look at what makes this thing move: The 2009 Dodge Challenger can be fitted with three different engines. The best one is a 6.1 liter HEMI that makes 425 horsepower.

Then there’s a 5.7 liter V-8 that’ll kick out up to 376 horsepower. If you’re feeling really conservative, you can elect to go with the 3.5 liter V-6 engine that rustles up 250 horses. Fuel efficiency with the smallest engine comes in at 17 town, 25 highway.

The biggest engine, however, doesn’t fall back much, losing just one mpg in the city. That HEMI is really efficient. Look for the 2009 Dodge Challenger on lots for between $21,820 and $39,820.
