A brochure of the upcoming Honda CR-Z seeped out in the web, just a month before its planned launch at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
The brochure shows that the production version of the CR-Z (Compact Renaissance Zero) sticks with the concept launched earlier this year at the Tokyo Motor Show, just minus the futuristic headlights.
The CR-Z features a 1.5 Liter four-cylinder gasoline engine that is partnered to Honda’s Integrated Motor Assist hybrid technology. The gas engine produces 114 horsepower and with the electric motor an additional 14 horsepower is achieved. Combined torque is recorded at 164 pound feet. The CR-Z will be offered with a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic. The CRX successor is reputedly able to hit 60 mph from a standstill in 9.7 seconds.
The Honda CR-Z is expected to debut at the Detroit Auto Show and will be available later in 2010.
