Despite the recent bankruptcy issues that General Motors faces, the new owner of Hummer is very optimistic about its brand’s future.

Due to the uncertain future of GM, Hummer transactions and productions was recently moved and bought by the Tengzhong Heavy Industrial Machinery Company in China.

According to the new owner, the Hummer will still stay on its original modification but some changes, challenges and improvements will occur. The owner will immediately address the Hammer’s poor fuel economy

In addition to FlexFuel technology, Hummer is also considering the use of diesel, hybrid and even all-electric drive trains. They will all finish it customizations and improvement by 2014. However, it remains unclear where it will build the vehicles after they finalize their plans until 2010.
