2009 Jaguar XJ

The present top cat is just nice but something much nicer is on its way. The new 2009 Jaguar XJ Series will have a 4.2-Liter V8 engine but unfortunately still no word about a possible 2.7-Liter diesel engine being enjoyed by the other markets. All of the models will however have rear wheel drive features and a six-speed automatic transmission.

This topcat will be available as a 2-door convertible and a 4-door luxury sedan. There will be five models to choose from including the Super V8 model, the XJR, the Vanden Plas, the entry level XJ8 and the XJ8 L. you get an option for the 300 horsepower or the 400 horsepower depending on the model you choose. The new Jaguar rocks because even the entry level XJ8 and the XJ8 L are equipped with Xenon headlights, a self-adapting suspension depending on the road conditions, fully powered accessories, Bluetooth connectivity and a driver-assist parking system. And here’s more—you can adjust the seats in 16 different ways thanks to the power pedals.

If you want to wallow in luxury then get the XJ Vanden Plas model with power adjustable front mirrors, 19-inch tires, navigation system, heated steering wheels, Alpine music system and hold your breath— rugs that are made of lambs wool. Can it get better than this?
