If you want to go green then it’s time to opt for vehicles like the Lexus RX400h, a refined SUV with great performance. A quick glance at the petrol-electric Lexus RX400h would not show any distinguishing mark as against the other models in the RX lineup. However, take a look at the tailgate and flanks and you’ll see the small hybrid badges that confirm it is indeed an eco-friendly car. This car may not have a very distinctive design compared to its competitors like the Mercedes M-Class but that’s relative.
The Lexus RX400h has very practical but unfortunately cheap interiors like the shiny plastics that reduce the luxury car fell-good atmosphere. But if you’re not that picky then you’ll be satisfied with the leather trim which is available even in the entry level models. It also has spacious interiors which can seat five adults comfortably, a satellite-nav and climate control features. Luggage space is however not that great no thanks to an unfoldable rear bench.
The Lexus RX400h Is Eco-Friendly SUV has a 3.3-liter V6 petrol engine plus an electric motor that produces 269 horsepower. The RX400h can run even on electricity alone if you’re going at low speeds. This may be environment-friendly but definitely not economically-friendly with a high list price and high running costs at 25mpg.
