
Infiniti will introduce their first diesel engine in its Infiniti EX, Infiniti FX, and Infiniti M line. All the models will be available only for European markets for now.
Named the V9X, the 3.0-liter turbocharged common rail engine produces 235 horsepower (175 kW / 238 PS) and up to 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque. The aluminum four-cylinder mill commands the Infiniti EX30d to a hundred kilometers per hour in 7.9 seconds. The FX30d meanwhile can sprints to 100 km/h in 8.3 seconds.
With its diesel powerhouse, the EX swallows up 8.4 liters of fuel per 100km, getting roughly 34.6 mpg. On the other hand, the FX uses 9.0 liters of fuel,…
