A new tuning package for the Volkswagen’s Golf R has been introduced by B&B Automobiltecknik.
The package is available in three different configurations so that the Golf R can be revised to produce 310, 324 and 362 PS. The range-topping model features a larger turbocharger, a sports exhaust system with a larger downpipe and a racing catalyst, revised engine electrics, a new air intake, an optimized intercooler, and a Slim-line oil cooler. Geared with these modifications, the 362 PS Golf R can sprint from zero to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds before hitting its top speed of almost more than 280 km/h (174 mph).
B&B Automobiltecknik also fitted the Golf R with an adjustable coilover suspension with sport springs that reduce the ride height by 30 mm and a high performance braking system.
The Volkswagen Golf R will however not be fitted with a Caractere body kit, which is always present with every B&B kit. Rather it will only have exclusive 19- and 20-inch wheels.
B&B Automobiltecknik has not yet released the availability and pricing information of the Golf R tuning kit.
